Workers’ Safety and Health are critical elements in every work setting. A safe working environment cuts absenteeism, companies’ insurance bills, etc.This course assists participants to discover the close connection between workers’ safety and health and their company’s productivity, introduce and refresh them on ideas about standards of regulation for healthy work and occupational environments.
Course Objectives: - At the end of the course, participants will be able to:-
- Make strong connections between safety, health and their occupations.
- Effectively identify health and safety issues in their work environments.
- Articulate workers’ rights and employers’ responsibilities in safeguarding the said rights.
- Suggest to their Organizations efficient mechanisms for achieving safe and healthy working environments.
- Apply basic OHS skills for their benefit and that of their Organisations.

This course is specifically aimed at senior and middle level managers, Human Resource Officers in the Public and Private Sector, in NGOs, International Development Agencies, and/or any other employees who deal with Health issues in their Organizations.Course Date: 28th May – 01st June
