New Graduate at ORI
ORIwelcomes back Edwin Mosimanyana, who recently graduated with an MSc in Water Science and Engineering, specialising in Hydrology and Water Resources from UNESCO-IHE, in Delft, the Netherlands. His thesis "Stochastic Estimation of Inlet Amounts: Case Study Keulevaart Polder", looked at how to estimate the surface water inflow into the Keulevaart polder(which is land reclaimed from water) in the Netherlands, using the water balance approach. The surface inflow was calculated as a residual in the water balance approach. The uncertainty of the individual terms of the water balance components, and how these were propagated in the calculation of the surface inflow was also taken into consideration. Congratulations Edwin!
